ABOUT US
Iris Goldschmidt and Ilene Berman are Co-CEO’s of the highly successful Airport Wireless and Techshowcase airport retail electronics stores. In mid 2008 they began seeking ways to convert their existing operations into a more environmentally sustainable model. After some research they discovered that the motto, “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle,” was a simple yet clear guideline from which they could formulate a corporate Environmental Stewardship Program.
A “Reduction” campaign was created and successfully implemented. However, it was while working out the details of the “Reuse and Recycle” portion that Iris and Ilene began to conceive, then build upon new and imaginative ways to convert the organization’s waste into profit. They immediately realized that these procedures can be applied to almost any other business. Based upon their new found processes and products, genuine interest in ecology, and their entrepreneurial background; Iris and Ilene decided to found Renewable Green Marketing in 2009.
Iris Goldschmidt, Co-CEO and ACDBE Member
From 1989 to 1995 Iris Goldschmidt co-owned and operated Linkage, Inc., a computer hardware, networking, and software provider; providing law firms with software customization, system integration and customer support. From 1995 to 1998 Iris co-owned and operated The Cellular Shop, a retail mobile phone service and accessory store in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Following her dream to sell mobile phones and accessories to business travelers, Iris began doing business out of a 90 square foot cart in Philadelphia International Airport in 1997. This was achieved during a time that the concept was so new, that there was often an education required with every sale. Iris opened her first inline retail store in the Philadelphia International Airport in 1998. Since then Iris has grown Airport Wireless and Techshowcase to include 42 retail stores in 20 major metropolitan U.S. Airports.

During her tenure Ilene was directly responsible for growing Global System’s business by 400%. From 2002 to present Ilene has assisted Iris in the growth of Airport Wireless and Techshowcase to include 42 retail stores in 20 major metropolitan U.S. Airports.
